So halloween's over and done and I actually have a fair amount of candy, considering that I didn't go trick or treating. I also carved a wonnnnnderful pumpkin of which I am quite proud (and also which is RAPIDLY dehydrating.... She now looks a bit... stretched.. especially her left arm, which has widened so much that it is practically her entire torso now..). I had planned on carving two pumpkins, but didn't have time to do the second one. Maybe I still will. If not, I'll make it into a pumpkin pie, which is always fun. :>

But anyway, here is a picture of my lovely pumpkin. It's a little blurry, I know, but the less blurry one isn't at quite the right angle, plus you can't see all the grass in the less blurry one, so you'll just have to deal. :>

My costume was also quite nifty. I was Medusa again, but seeing as I was in Scotland the last time I used it, I figured it was fine to recycle. Most people knew I was Medusa, although I had quite a few people think I was the statue of liberty, EVEN THOUGH I had about a million googly eyes on the ends of my dreads. I think people got distracted by the green and didn't notice the eyes right away. Either way I won first prize in the adult costume contest at the fall fair my church was putting on, so that was nice. I even (almost) have all of the green out from the insides of my ears... I didn't get anyone to take a picture of me with my own camera, so pictures will have to wait until I can get copies. They'll be put here eventually. As will more pictures from Scotland come to think of it. In fact.. I think I have a bunch ready now...

Ok, here are the pictures..

So you will get to see my Medusa costume after all. :> Oh, and I also went dressed up to school all day long and out of 20000+ people, I only saw less than 10 other people dressed up ALL DAY. Granted I never went round the fine arts department, so that kind of explains the low number, but STILL. Sheesh. Everyone else is so boring...

Anyway, the banana bread will be done in about 10 seconds so I had best away before it turns a lovely shade of black...

In other news, I just had a small coughing fit and have given myself hiccoughs. And not the drunken cartoon mouse ones that go away after three hiccoughs either.. No, these are the loud and rather violent variety which, thankfully, I don't get often..
