I've finally discovered a Canadian slang word that they don't have over in Scotland!!!! So they do actually exist! Or.. one does anyway...

And the word is... BOONIES!!!! (Which, as I have just discovered, thanks to a lovely online dictionary, is a shortened form of boondocks.)

Now to see if I can't find some more fun slang that we have but no one else does.
