So, in an effort to become more physically active, I've started going swimming here, among other things. The first time I went I got a wee bit of a shock when I realized that the change room is co-ed. They've got changing stalls and signs up that say while you're in the changing room you have to keep your swimming costume/trunks on (swimming costume... hehehehe...). Once I got used to the idea of the changing room being co-ed, I actually thought of some advantages to having it this way. You see, I am a rather big fan of NOT having naked people of any gender showering next to me and walking around, especially if they're old... Naked old people are kind of flappy... So not being alowed to be naked in plain sight quite agrees with me. That is.. if people actually pay attention to the signs.. Today just before I left, there was a guy who clearly is from one of those countries that don't care about nudity... because he was most definitely NOT clothed in any way shape or form. Luckily I only saw him quickly and wasn't wearing my glasses at the time, but STILL. Traumatizing I tell you..
