One of my dreads tried to commit suicide today... It's one of the ones at the very bottom of my head, right where my hair ends. The ones down there have always had a smaller amount of hair included in them than the rest, and some of them have been sort of slimming down for quite some time now, but today I noticed that the worst one has gotten quite a bit worse recently. Poor thing was holding on with probably less than 20 hairs... So I gathered up all the frizzly bits of loose hair around him and strapped it to him with a rubber band. Hopefully the rubber band will keep everything together long enough for some knots to form and grab onto the poor suicidal dread.. :s
