Sorry I haven't been posting much here in the last while. I haven't really been in the mood for writing I suppose. Hopefully this will change quickly as I've got a history paper due soon.. This will actually be the first paper I've had to do since starting uni. I've gotten used to not writing essays it would seem. Back in highschool, when it seemed like you wrote an essay at least once a week, being assigned an essay wouldn't have fazed me at all. Now I'm really not looking forwards to doing it. Which is silly because it only needs to be 1000 words long, which is absolutely nothing at all. Oh well.

So in other news, I went up to Inverness last weekend with a bunch of friends. It was fun even if the hike we went on on Saturday ended up in us waving down a bus on the highway and me with freezing cold feet (my shoes definitely do have holes in the bottoms so by the time I was able to stick my feet in a sink and run hot water on them, the tops were aboslutely WHITE and the bottoms of my feet were a sort of sick looking purple.. Not so good..). Other than that the trip was quite fun and I've got a LOT of pictures to prove it. :> Don't worry, you'll be getting those in the next newsletter.

So let's see.. what else can I ramble on about for a while.. Well... Uhh... Hmm. Oh! I made pumpkin pie for thanksgiving day! I wasn't about to cook a full out dinner because I'm the only Canadian in my whole flat and so no one else really cared, but I wanted some pumpkin pie. Now, normally I make things from scratch because they just taste so much better, but this pie I really, REALLY made from scratch. You see.. canned pumpkin is not something that exists over here. At all. So I went and bought a pumpkin and boiled it and mashed it and pressed the water out of it and everything and oh man, does that pie taste good. :>

Anyway, I got distracted by an e mail that was just sent to me and so have nicely lost my train of thought, which means this is all you get for the moment.
