Hali went wading through the lake the other day to see if she could catch any frogs. (There are so many frogs around here now that you can hear them 24/7. And they're not quiet frogs either! It actually reminds me of Jamaica though, so I quite enjoy it. Except when I'm trying to read outside.. Very distracting..)

So anyway, Hali went wading in the lake, and Mel and Kobe were out with her, but seeing as there was a lake in between them and some attention and pats (i.e. Hali) they weren't really sure what to do. They tried going over the fence, into the field on the other side where it's dry and then getting around the lake that way, but then of course Hali would just move somewhere else and then the lake would be in the way again. I'm not entirely sure what Kobe ended up doing, probably just leaving because she was bored, but Mel decided, enough of this nonsense. I'm just going to walk through the lake. And that's what she did!

She walked right through the middle of the lake. She didn't go through the deepest parts so it only went up to her chin, but still! And then once Hali was done, Mel went right back through the lake to get to the house.

Now, whenever we go out there, Mel will come along with us and tromp through the water. She's so weird..
