So I woke up this morning to find that my nose, my poor little sunburnt nosie, was, in between freckles, one big blister. It was actually kind of amusing, once I ignored how sore it was. The freckles didn't burn at all, so there were a whole bunch of little teeny blisters scattered about. They've actually kind of gone away now, which is nice because I don't have to worry about them all peeling off now. My ear did that a couple years ago when I fried it cutting grass out in the sun. My forehead is still rather red, but I expect that should be gone in a day or so.

In other news, I got to haul a load of leaves, boards and other assorted junk to the dump today. I also got to use Ted's HUMASSIVE Ford 350 diesel truck to do it with. In doing so, I discovered that I REALLY like driving that truck. I'm not entirely sure why though. Possibly it has something to do with being like 8 feet up off the road.. Ok, not 8 feet, but still. I sure wouldn't want to drive that on any sort of narrow road though.. The truck is so wide that on normal city streets, you have about 3 inches of unused lane. And after driving that truck, the clutch in my car feels like it goes in soooooooo easily! (The clutch on the truck is rather stiff and my foot was actually started to hurt after having driven to the dump and back just from pushing it in)

The other day, I was thinking about how exactly I would get either a quad or a dirt bike into McLean if ever I buy one. I could probably get a trailer hitch put onto my car and get it in that way, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to get over the whoop-de-whoops with a trailer. Best thing to do would be to find a pickup and put the quad/dirt bike in the back. But then I'd have to find a truck to drive.. I was thinking that Ted's could work, but I think it's waaaay too long to get over the whoop-de-whoops. (The truck is probably at least 12 or 14 feet long. Perhaps later I will go and measure it and let you all know) Actually if I tried to drive over the whoop-de-whoops with Ted's truck, it would probably end up with the front wheels on the one bump and the back wheels on the other. Which would be pretty funny actually, but whatever. I doubt he'd let me take it up there anyway. I'll just have to find someone to drive up with and then I can drive my car in and they can drive the quad/dirt bike in. Or something. Or maybe I won't ever even buy a quad or dirt bike and all this ranting has been for naught anyway. We shall see. I really do want one though...

Dan said I could get a dirt bike that was good enough for me for not much.. Less than 3000$.. Pfffft.. Anyone got 3000$ they want to donate to me?.. Anyone?? Anyone at all?..
