Oh man, it was sooooooooo nice outside today! By 10 or 11 the thermometer outside said it was 30 degrees. Granted the thermometer was incorrectly placed in direct sunlight, so it's not actually accurate, but still!!

Since it was so completely gorgeous outside I took all my stupid study stuff outside. At first it was kind of cold, especially when the wind picked up, and I kept having to put on another shirt, then take it off when the wind stopped, then put it back on.. But then the wind got warmer and stopped blowing as often and in between breezes, it was almost too hot to even sit outside. I stuck it out though, got through my phys chem notes and attempted to do some of the suggested problems. The only problem with the stupid problems is that I'm pretty sure it's an old list of problems, so some of the problems are no longer relevent to what we actually learned. Also, the ones that ARE relevent and ridiculously stupid and weird.

So then I decided to forgo the questions and read instead. I got about 200 pages read, or nearly that many anyway, and also got rather burnt in the process. I even put on sunscreen and everything, although it would seem that for the unfortunate part of my body situated below my chin and above the neck of my shirt, I was too late. I was also a little too late for my right arm, or I didn't put enough sun screen on, because I am quiiiiiiiiite pink. Even though my chest is the worst (it really is quite burnt) it's my right arm that hurts the most. It also feels like my right arm is constantly in a ray of sun because it's all hot from being fried.

My face is also kind of funny. The right side of it is slightly, slightly more burned than the left side (I was sitting with the sun on my right side for most of the day) but all that time in the sun also caused about a zillion freckles to appear all over my nose and the tops of my cheeks. So the freckles are all nice and brown and the skin in between them is pink. It's like polka dot! And my hair line, which was completely covered by the bandana I had on, it white white white!

Luckily my legs didn't burn at all. I think it's because they were soooooooo white that they reflected all of the UV rays right off and none of them even had a chance to soak in. So pastiness had finally been a good thing. :>
