Before winter, Hali and I had lifted up the cover of the hot tub and looked in and the bottom of the hot tub was filled with ice and mud from rain and snow getting in. But now that it's warm out and the ice had all melted, I took another look in to see what I could see. What I saw, was a dead bird in the hot tub.. I'm not sure how long it's been there, but I would guess it's been there all winter long. It's not even decomposed, or at least, the side sticking out of the water isn't decomposed. I imagine it's from being in a near cryogenic state all winter long. Kind of gross though. I also feel kind of bad for the bird, who either flew in and drowned, starved or froze to death. Not fun. But eventually we will get around to cleaning the whole thing out and seeing if it works.
