So I got to take public transit today. NOT because I wanted to, but more because my car died on me. Again. It was another clutch related problem, but this time it was the fire wall that gave out. It was already cracked and they had put a patch on it, but it cracked again and this time the crack went right through. Plus the clutch cable had been rubbing against the fire wall so IT was just about read to snap too.. So when you look at it that way I guess it would be a good thing that the firewall cracked when it did, otherwise, well, I suppose it would have been about the same... At least I hadn't even gotten out of the parking lot at the gym. Oohh.. If I had been on the highway when it crapped out on me.. That would not have been good.

So anyway, back to the whole public transit part of the story. So, I couldn't take my mum's car to school because she worked nights on Sunday, so she was still at the hospital when I needed to leave. So Ted drove me to a bus stop, then drove Hali to the hospital where she hung out with my mum for a while because it was waaaaaay too early for her to go to school. (I started at 8am this morning.)

So after school was done I caught the bus back to where I had gotten on it in the first place and walked over to the library to pick up a book that was there for me. Turns out the library is LOOOOOOOONG walk from Westbrook...

Anyway, I will now cut out some of the details of my story otherwise this will end up being very long, and probably very boring. So, to make this whole thing shorter I will summarize by saying that my car was ready 5 hours after they said it would be, at 5 I finally got to take it home and everyone had pizza.

Oh, and Hali saw Jackie Chan today. Or, at least the back of his car. Or, at least she thinks it was the back of his car.. It was driving into his house and was either a Lamborghini or a Ferrari. And while I do know of some people in Springbank that own Ferarri's, I'm pretty sure there are no Lamborghini's. So it's a pretty safe bet that it was actually him. Why on earth he would want to have a winter house in Springbank is beyond me though...
