I saw Napoleon Dynamite tonight at school. Oh man, it was sooooooooo funny!!! Hehehehe.
The events of the night leading up to the actual movie were rather harrowing (that's the word of the night by the way). You see, first I had to take my sister to her cello lesson, but my mum wasn't sure if she would be able to pick Hali up and if I had to pick her up, then I'd be late for the movie. Luckily my mum was able to get her, albeit a little later than Hali would have liked, so that worked out.
So I get there and there's nobody there at all. Hurrah for good seats. Anyway, turns out the movie didn't start until a half hour later than what I thought, but anyway. Then while I was waiting for my friend to get there I had a nice chat with a guy who also had dreads. He wanted to know how I got the ends of mine to be all nice and not just loose hairs. The answer to which is I have no idea. I also discovered that the ends of his dreads are also held together with lint. :>
So then my friend got there and I went to get some popcorn (unlimited popcorn for 1$!!) and a pop. The popcorn was acquired with no problems, but the pop.. Well.. First the machine wouldn't take my money, THEN when I found a machine that would I accidentally pushed the wrong button and got a regular pepsi rather than diet (stupid non-functioning pancreas...). So I went over and asked the guys at the door to where the movie was if any of them wanted to buy the pop off me. The first guy didn't have money, but the second one "borrow" some from the money they were collecting from non U of C people for the movie. So all was well in that department.
And, ok, I suppose the whole night wasn't quite as harrowing as I may have lead you to believe at first, but it did seem so at the time.
