Yesterday at bible study Ellen (the study leader) was trying to get a fire going in her fireplace and wasn't really having much luck, so I opted to crumple up newspaper and stuff it in for her. Unfortunately for me, the screen in front of the fire place is NOT attached to the wall as I thought it was, and I bumped it a little bit and it fell over and hit me square on the bridge of my nose. It hurt so bad because the screen was metal and sharp.

My nose is so horribly bruised, except that you can't see a bruise because I almost never bruise. So it hurts, a lot, but I have absolutely nothing to show for it. Although, I don't really know that I'd LIKE to have a great purple bruise in the middle of my face, but at least that way I could say I'd saved a baby from a runaway carriage or something...

Hali was inspired/influenced by all the Apocalyptica that I've been listening to lately. She's going to start cello lessons in January. I hope she's not as squeeky on cello as she is on my violin... I might just go bonkers if she is. Or make her play outside.... :> Even my mum agrees with me that I was never as squeeky as Hali is when I started. But I dunno, maybe you squawk less on cello. Oh man, I hope so.
