I played violin with the worship band at church today for the first time. It was so much fun! I was a little nervous at the beginning of the practice, and my arm was shaking a bit (definitely NOT condusive to good sound..) but then I just totally lost my nervousness and it was sooooooooo fun!

Two of the songs I had to just play by ear because we didn't have any music with actual notes on it, just chords, but even that went well. Hopefully I'll be able to start playing violin in the band on a regular basis now.

And we got a new kitten on Christmas day! She is soooo cute! We don't have a name for her yet, but we're working on it.
