Well, we always knew the time would come when we would be forced to move farther out into the boonies so as to escape the ever nearer city (why can't you expand elsewhere and leave us alone?!). Last Friday they decided to inform us that we had until February to vacate so that they can bulldoze the house. Great. Fine. Oh, and by the way, thanks for the generous amount of time for us to actually FIND a house to move INTO.

I think we have actually found one. My mum and Ted have been looking for absolutely ages and we've finally found something that is at least mostly what we were looking for. It's right by the highschool in Springbank. I haven't seen it yet, but from what everyone says it's really nice but does need some work (i.e. walls knocked down and new ones put up). It is also in DIRE need of some re-decorating... I've seen the pictures of the inside... Green carpet and PINK curtains. It's absolutely disgusting.

I'm sad that I'm going to lose all the work that I put into the guest room here. I may do it again in a room in the new house, but I'm not sure. I have an idea of what I want to do in my room, but also I'm not sure if I'll do it... especially because I can't paint detail worth crap... What I was thinking of doing was in very light brown and golds, like Michaelangelo used, draw a map of the world across the ceiling and down parts of the walls. Or actually do one of the Michaelangelo angels on a wall or something. But, like I said.. Trouble is, I can't paint worth crap, so I'd either have to find someone who's good at that, or hire someone, which would probably get rather pricy. Unfortunately. Who knows. Maybe I'll develop a painting talent sometime between now and February.
