My tummy hurts. :<

Had another nervous break down (yes I know.. another one..) but I'm mostly ok now. To think, I thought I was all better. Just goes to show you that Murphy's law is still hanging around trying to screw things up for everyone. Almost makes me want to write a poem. There's nothing like adversity (or crappy weather) to put you in the mood for prose. I always write better poems when I'm either depressed or pissed off, or both, which is kind of sad because then any time anyone reads anything I've written, they start to wonder about my mental health.

Right now I'm sitting in the Elbow Room at U of C which is an elbow shaped room filled with computers which are generally never all used up. Quite nice. Especially since they all have scroll mouses and nice keyboards with all the keys in the right places!! (In the library, they've got these new fancy keyboards that have keys like 'home' and 'end' and whatnot in different spaces. Drives me nuts.) The only problem is that it's freezing in here. Well, not exactly freezing, but I am sitting underneath a vent which is NOT blowing hot air like you would EXPECT when there is SNOW ALL OVER THE GROUND OUTSIDE! Belinda (Aussie living with us at the moment) is quite happy about the snow, but then again, she is from Australia and having snow in October (i.e. summer) or snow at all mainly is quite strange. Fiona also is happy about the snow, but she is weird and likes winter best. Personally, I think that it can snow all it wants in the mountains and on Christmas day, but the rest of the time, it should be warm out. Except of course when you want to go sledding or have a snowball fight. Ok, so basically, it can snow all it wants in the mountains and everywhere OTHER than the roads because driving on ice and skidding into a ditch is not really all that fun.

My little owl pumpkin is dead. Well, it's a zombie right now. You see, it's still sitting outside, on display, but it's SO SMUSHY that it's entirely collapsed in on itself and you can only somewhat see the carved part now. It's still got the candle inside and I'm a little worried about how covered in smushy pumpkin goop it'll be now.. Ew... Perhaps I should put my zombie-owl out of it's misery and drop it off the garage roof so I can see it splatter... I know, I'm so cruel.
