I had the "good fortune" of getting in the way of a cranky cat today at work. Oh yes. It was great fun. It was this sweet little midget cat (she's really tiny) and she'd gotten out of her kennel (when cats have adjusted, we let them out, this was sort of her trial run) and decided that she didn't really like all the other cats very much. So she starts hissing and whatnot, so I pick her up and I pet her back once and then she flipped out on me. She dug one set of claws into the underside of my right arm and the other set into the top of my right arm. Then she sank her teeth into the top of my right arm. So now there's a good hole punched into the underside of my arm and two cuts on the top, from top and bottom fangs. The scratches on the top of my arm from her claws didn't break the skin, but you could see four distinct lines on my arm from her.
It doesn't look like it'll get infected or anything, which is good. Cat spit has a high amount of bacteria in it, so cat bites can get very infected very quickly. Other than that, I'm still breathing and life is good. :>
