Today was a long day. Although, it didn't really feel THAT long which is quite nice, seeing as I was at the gym for 10 1/2 hours today! Yowza. I only actually worked 8 3/4 hours today, but I was still THERE for the whole ten and a half.

So my day went like this... Get up at 7, drive to work at 8:15, encounter stupid construction and road blocks and all that. For a little while I wasn't totally sure that I was actually going to be able to GET to work the way that I normally go. It all worked out though and I got there. So then I was a kindergym helper for three hours, had an hour and a half lunch break, (which I spent most of reading The Two Towers on a mat in the gym and then took a nap) then I was subbing for Joya and did her kindergym classes, then I had a half hour before I got to do the pre-competitive girls. They're all so cute! Not all of them listen so very well, but they're still adorable.

When I first got there, I checked my mailbox, as usual, and found the lesson plan that I left for my sub last Saturday. On it there was a little sticky note that said that the first class was fine, but then in the second class there was a little bit of an accident. And I was thinking, oh, somone hurt their neck, or sprained something, but no... One of my girls had falled off the high bar and broke her arm. But it's actually not that bad... because I didn't think she was going to pass her level anyway, so now I don't have to fail her. (I'm horrible, I know, but she was one of the ones that NEVER worked or did anything and distracted everyone else.) Poor Dani (my sub). I found out today that she was completely and utterly upset by it and was in tears and felt so bad and all that. And I'm certainly not one of those people who think that if they'd been there it wouldn't have happened, because I'm quite sure that had I been there, she still would have broken her arm. It's just too bad that Dani got all freaked out about it and whatnot. I'll have to give her a call to see exactly what happened though.

So anyway... A bit of excitement today. When I was just about finished with the pre-competitive girls, they noticed someone with weird hair walking on the second floor and so I looked and it was some guy with a mohawk! I have no idea who he is, but it was quite a nice one. Wasn't very long, but it was SUPER bleach blond and all fanned out and sooooooooooo nice. He'd gone into the bathroom up there and when he came out he looked over at me (probably cause I'm the only other person in the entire gym with unique hair) and he wasn't too horrible looking from the front either. So now I have a mysterious mohawked man. Unfortunately, I NEVER work tuesdays at that time, so I'll probably never see him again. And he probably wasn't my type or anything like that, or really old, or really young or something, but I was still excited to see someone with a mohawk. :> So he shall hence be called the MMM (mysterious mohawked man).
