Today Caitlin and I went wandering just about aimlessly up and down 17th ave. It was great fun. We went with the general intent of causing as much chaos and mayhem as we could, although found it rather hard to do when it was only 10am. So we settled for pointless walking. And cheesecake brownies.

We did go into two tattoo places and get a ballpark estimate for how much my vine-type tattoo will cost (100-150$). It's more expensive than I thought it would be, but it is also a once in a lifetime price and 150$ for several decades of adorned back isn't too bad. And it has a Jesus fish in the middle. I drew it. I'm quite proud of it. Considering I drew it from scratch and I can't dray ANYTHING from scratch. :>

We went into Blue Light Special and looked at all of their mostly scary vintage clothes, and we went into the hemporium to see what sort of dreads stuff they had. They're on a rather low supply at the moment. Quite sad.

We also got noticed by some guys in a truck. The one driving yelled out 'hello', I turned and smiled, Cait waved and we moved on. And that was as close as we came to finding a mohawked man. In fact, there were no mohawked men at all to be seen. Which is quite sad. On any day, never mind when you are looking for them.

So after all of that we went back to Cait's house and we were going to see Shrek 2, but none of the theatres were playing it at a very convienient time, so we settled for Texas Chain Saw Massacre instead. It was scaryish, but not nightmare causing. Although, I haven't yet seen a scary movie that is, so there you go.

Cait and I also had a very nice Jesus talk, which was quite fun. She presented to me her dad's rather original take on the whole thing. Very politicalish.

Then I got home and puttered around for a wee bit, then read the entire fourth Georgia Nicholson book. It was hilarious! And british. And since I read the entire thing in one sitting, I am now in a very british frame of mind and was going about in a british sort of way and annoying my mum. She's left now, so the only person I have to annoy at the moment is Aaron whom I am talking with on msn. Although some of the original britishness has worn off.

The new british words/phrases that I am going to try out in my vocabulary are, 'crikey', 'oh my giddy aunt' and possibly 'blimey'. And of course, already VERY ingrained in my vocabulary is 'bollocks', which I think it a fantastico word and an essential part to anyone's vocabulary. And yes I know what bollocks actually means.

The only problem with reading Georgia Nicholson books is that she has rather a lot of boys that seem to enjoying having an occasional snog with her, and it makes me quite sad to not have a boy to snog of my own. I am not, however, a very kanoodly-snog-me-constantly type person, however, it does still make me sad not to have a sort of life toy. Hrrrmmmmmm.
