Recently I got a pair of contacts, so that I could try wearing them again. Last time, so 4 years ago, that I had contacts, they didn't make disposable ones big enough for my eyes, so I had to get ones that you wear for a whole year, then get rid of. They weren't the most comfortable things in the world, so I scrapped them and just wore glasses when I needed to. Now though, I'm wearing my glasses quite a bit. I blame school for this.. Becuase it was too much work to take them off between classes and then clean them every THREE seconds after having them sit on my head, etc, so I just wore them all day long. The only problem with me wearing glasses all the time is that they bug me. For whatever reason, it bothers me, especially walking around, to have glasses sitting on my face. So now I'm back at contacts, but luckily they make them big enough now. They're actually pretty comfortable.
This morning though, I thought I lost one of them, because suddenly it wasn't on my eye anymore and I had no idea where it went. I had a sneaking suspicion that it was sitting under my eyelid somewhere, but I couldn't see it, so I figured it must have falled into the sink and gotten washed down the drain. So I got ready to go to work. The whole time, my left eye was bothering me. It felt like there was something in there, but I couldn't see anything at all. So when I went to brush my teeth, I put some drops in my eyes to see if that would help, and lo and behold, the "lost" contact actually WAS still on my eye just WAAAAAYYY up in my eye. It was so far back, that when I pulled up my eyelid and looked all around, you couldn't see it at all. So I put it back on properly and went on with my day.
