you know, it used to be quite in my house. then hali discovered her love of singing. only that it's not singing as you would normally hear, where people try and sound at least somewhat decent. this is singing as one would normally hear closer to the monkey house at the zoo... she is quite fond of taking perfectly fine and normal songs and brutally making them into something close to opera. it's quite scary acutally. just a minute ago she sang 'bye bye boyfriend', which really is a terrible song to begin with, but you just try and listen to it while it's being sung opera style VERY close to your poor, delicate ears. and it was nasally. nasal opera. oh my.
