today has been a very rough and painful day. to start things off i fell down the stairs. usually when i fall down the stairs i can catch hold of the railing and only mildly hurt myself, but not today. today i missing grabbing the railing and instead my elbow decided to give it a try and so lost a good chunk of skin and i hurt my hand and my butt too. not so fun. and then after that i fell UP the stairs, which is actually possible. then i nearly fell off the chair i was standing on while i was trying to get a pie plate (PUMPKIN PIE!!) and then after that i nearly stabbed myself with an xacto knife because the blade was loose and so it slid out and hit my tummy. i'm slightly afraid to even try to start batiking tonight incase i set my entire body on fire or something.

i did manage to find everything i need despite Michael's lack of any sort of batik supplies whatsoever. very sad. i shall have to write them and tell them to get their butts in gear and get some batik supplies. for goodness sake. the only thing i don't entirely have is an electric skillet. i've got instead an electric griddle and a pot. which will work just as well, i hope. i think it should at any rate. and if not, then i will have to go and bum around some second hand stores and see if they have an electric skillet (i keep trying to call them skittles..) because new ones are EXPENSIVE! yikes. 60 bucks. gak.

oh my. it is nearly 9 and i have been sitting here since 7 not doing my homework. i must be off. ta!
