this particular blog has been building up for the last couple days due to the fact that i HAVE NO TIME! and so, i wrote everything down that i wanted to write about because otherwise i would forget it all. which brings me to my first point...

i have absolutely no short term memory anymore. AND I'M NOT EVEN OVER 40! sheesh. that's not until 2025. it's so terribly annoying. i can't remember anything anymore. i went to the bookstore today because i wanted to buy some more overhead sheets and markers and there was something else that i wanted to get, but wasn't sure they'd have. at any rate it doesn't matter if they have it or not because i can't remember what it was that i wanted to get. and i forget several times the things that i wanted to put in here. i think i've remembered them all though. very troublesome.

also, why oh WHY must u of c be a pepsi uni?! WHY?! there is no coke ANYWHERE! NO WHERE! or rather, there's ONE place on ALL of campus that has coke, but i don't know where it is. arg. if they get pepsi vanilla in diet then it might not be so bad. this is, of course, providing that pepsi vanilla doesn't taste terrible. which it may or may not. i'm not sure. i haven't tried it yet. although i did win a bag of doritos from my last bottle of pepsi... but i don't really like doritos... so it still doesn't make up for it not being coke.

and then the bouldering wall was closed on thursday when Melissa and i were gonna go climbing. something about them having a competition there or something. tragic. although i did get some reading done. (none of this being school related of course.... :>

and hali shrunk my pants. hali's usually the one who does laundry in this house (mainly because she gets paid to do it.. i would, but she always beats me to it. stupid hali.) and this one pair of pants that i have usually shrink just a little bit, all my pants do, but this time she somehow shrunk them more than normal and now they won't stretch back out so that they're long enough. horrible. i need new pants. problem is that i'm a picky pants person. no pants ever fit me. you'd think they'd make pants for people who are short, but noooooooooo.

my room is infested with bugs. i have no idea what kind of bugs, but they are there nonetheless (i love that word.... nonetheless... :> they're some sort of flying bug, although they are very lazy and never fly anywhere. the hardly even move. they'll only move if you try to pick them up and kill them. and then they only make a half effort at moving. anyway, they're all over. my room and my bathroom. but no where else. NO WHERE. just MY room and MY bathroom. sigh. i've given up killing each individual one. they only come back and then i waste kleenex. so i've just taken to flicking them very forcefully off of whatever they are on at the time. or washing them down the sink. hopefully i flick them hard enough to kill them. but you can never be sure with bug infestations. they just don't seem to die. ever.

and i lost my retainer. or rather the bottom retainer. i don't know where it went. i only have to wear them once a week, sunday night usually unless i forget, but sometime during the night i took the bottom one out and did who knows what with it, because when i woke up the next morning it wasn't in my mouth and i haven't been able to find it since. as long as Kobe didn't take it i think there might be a slim chance that it's still in my room, but if she's found it then it's probably in some secret stash that she has in some tunnel miles underground. i can almost remember taking it out actually. i think either i vaguely remember it, or i drempt it. but either one i didn't put the retainer very far away so i'm thinking odds are good that Kobe snitched it. or the bugs carried it off.. hmmm.. in that case i don't think i want it back..

and now on a bit of a cheerier note, YAY FOR CATHETERS!! no, that was not sarcastic. yes i know it's incredible... Erin not sarcastic.. wowee. at any rate i now have a little catheter in mein tummy so that rather than having to give myself about 40 needles a week, i now just have to give myself 1! or rather, my mum gives me one. cause now i just inject the insulin into the catheter instead of into me! quite a wonderful concept if you ask me. i may continue to inject my nighttime insulin into my arm instead of the catheter just because that way the two insulins don't mix and some insulin always sits in the catheter, so that way i wouldn't have to worry about giving myself a teeny bit of nighttime stuff in the morning and daytime stuff at night.

i also had a hemoglobin A1C done the other day (this is to see how well i've been taking care of myself) and the result came back as 6.0. for a normal person without diabetes, a normal reading is somewhere between 4 and 6.3 (i think.. i'm not sure about the 4, but i know for sure it's lower than 6.3) AND I'M LOWER THAN 6.3!!! YAY!!!!!!! :>

and i also got 13.5 on 15 in a math 221 quiz! double hurrah!!!! :> but i only get to keep 13/15 because the guy rounds down (because he's generous with marks unlike the other guy that marked the first quiz.... shudder. if he had marked mine i probably would have gotten something ridiculously low like 3/15. i'm worried... he's marking the next one....)

P.S. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF,... THE FRIDGE SQUEEKS!!!!!!!!! muahahahahaha...... actually it doesn't... my brakes do though...
