i believe the entire stampede this year is against me. it's a conspiracy or something. there's gotta be someone or something organizing all of this. so not only was i most rudely left behind not once, but twice in the same night, it happened again tonight! well, not so much left behind as just not called at all. which is really just as bad because this time i didn't know i was being left behind and could have been doing much more productive things. well, other things at any rate. it's summer. i'm not supposed to be productive at the moment. so i spent the day avoiding the telephone in case i was on it while i was trying to be called regarding stampede plans. but no such luck. sheesh. there is definitely something in me that the stampede in general just does not like. or my mother for that matter. she isn't going this year for the first time in about 95 years (or so it seems) but that's just because she is too busy to go anytime. so she has a valid excuse. i don't. come to think of it, the stampede has been trying to faze me out since last year actually. last year was the first time in about 95 years that i didn't go to the grandstand show. apparantly that was only the beginning. now it's the whole thing that's against me. hmmmm. i should have played more games and bought more food in previous years it would seem.
